Thanks to dangermousie, I was reminded of the Lotus Lantern prequel that apparently came out last year but never made it onto my drama radar. I'd speed-watched the 2005 Lotus Lantern, just to see the Vincent Jiao scenes, and he is an extremely smoking hot Erlang Shen in that series.
